The Tour

• Departure: Our adventure begins at the Port of Sesimbra, setting course toward the Luiz Saldanha Marine Park.
• Route: Explore the wonders of the Arrábida coastline, passing by secret beaches, caves, and hidden coves such as Ribeira do Cavalo, Cova da Mijona, Frade Cave, and Boca do Tamboril Cave — all from the unique perspective of the sea.
• Dolphin Sightings: The highlight of the trip is, of course, watching dolphins in their natural environment.
  We frequently encounter three main species:

  • Common Dolphin (Delphinus delphis): agile and playful.

  • Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus): curious and friendly.

  • Striped Dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba): known for its spectacular jumps and often seen alongside common dolphins, offering an even more dynamic show.

Other species, such as pilot whales, minke whales, or even orcas, may occasionally appear.
However, these sightings are rare and not guaranteed. (Approaching orcas with tourist vessels is currently prohibited.)

This activity is conducted on our semi-rigid boats, not on the Apnea vessel (which has underwater viewing).
Fast boats are essential for covering greater distances in less time when searching for dolphins.

Custom Experience: In case you want to book this experience in private, it is possible to add stops to swim, snorkel, or explore hidden coves — a tailor-made adventure just for you.
